Feeling great this morning   Day 20 16 May 12

Went to shopping centre for late night shopping got home at 9pm dinner at 10pm settled down to sleep 11pm up at 6:15am
But feeling really positive and looking forward to my 2lb lose tonight

My shopping was good last night got a lovely jacket from New Look really trendy and a size 18, can't do the zip up but it looks great.
Defo a size 18 in jeans now tried loads on last night from various shops and they all fitted. Ended up getting jeggings from M&S, size 16, but M&S are generous with their sizing.
Got a lovely outfit for DD(20) too. We are both going out with my work colleagues on Friday, a leaving do, starting at 2pm in the afternoon in Bristol really looking forward to it.

Oh I forgot gotta tell you I had a "moment" last night in M&S. I love their sweets and chocs and would never go there without buying some
and not just one bag or one bar there would be multiples.

By this time it was 8:45 and DD and her friend and myself were tired and hungry. We picked a snack from the reduced isle, they had sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps and a drink
I had a tub of strawberries and a sugar free drink, that's it nothing else and it wasn't as if I had to pull myself away from the goodies I didn't even look at them.
This is truly a revelation for me and I am so pleased and inspired by it

Day 12 (BH wk'end)

This weekend was our monthly visit to Swansea. A boring 105 miles down the M4. Usually including a meal out and drive with my infirm 84 year old mum. Normally we would have a full fat meal out and then go home to a take away eating ice-creams or snacks all day.

Packed a box of fruit, eat a lovely grilled chicken and bacon salad, dressing on the side, and walked with my mum in the wheelchair. Having  steak and SW chips for our dinner when we got home. All in all a very successful day.

With this weekend in the bag I have had 4 on a trot without sweets, chocolate and junk food. Feeling very positive and looking forward to my weigh-in on Wednesday.

Here is a full body version of my picture for reference.
A size 20 dress with lots of Lycra support.

Hi,

I am a new to slimpods and want to give them a good try. I believe they can work I just need to be patient and give it time.

Slimpod is a recording cognitive hypnotherapy that you close your eyes and listen to. There are many but I have chosen
DROP TWO JEANS SIZES (or more)

I have had 5 listens so far and can't honestly say I have had any revelations. I am inpatient for it to kick in but must bid my time. Eating habit were built up over many years (I am 53) so it will take time to change them.

This is me all glammed up for a Fleet Air Arm dinner November 2012. My size hasn't changed much from here I have been stuck yo-yoing away.
I am at a Slimming World class so am in the mind set to eat healthy meals one just needs too stick to it. I have had difficulty doing that. But since the beginning of April I have been in the right mind and I went for the Slimpod to help my positive vibe.

I want to lose 5st before Christmas 2012, I have already lost 22lbs only have 48lbs to go.

I am also getting active with walking 4 days a week at lunchtime and going to the gym 2-3 times a week. My aim for April was 100 miles and I hit 112 so I have set 120 for my target in May.

Just some background I will let you know how the slimpod listening goes.
